    Thinking Outside the Breakfast Box 

    Did you know most of the world does not eat only eggs, pancakes, and toast for breakfast?  

    The term breakfast is derived from the words “Break” and “Fast”. It literally describes the first time you have eaten after not eating for a long time, like after sleeping. You are “breaking” or stopping the “fast” from eating. However, there is absolutely no rule on WHAT you should be breaking your fast with.  

    For many years we were plagued by tummy woes because we did not know that we had food allergies, and we were not following a spleen qi diet plan.  When you can’t eat gluten or dairy you start to look at other viable options. Here are a few of our favorites… 

    Turmeric Vegetable Medley

      This is such a fantastic resource! It can be tough to think of new early morning meals when you're in a rut, and facing particular food restrictions. I'd print this out and keep it as a little cheat sheet!
