Help - What Can I Eat?

    Thinking Outside the Breakfast Box

Did you know most of the world does not eat only eggs, pancakes, and toast for breakfast?

The term breakfast is derived from the words “Break” and “Fast”. It literally describes the first time you have eaten after not eating for a long time, like after sleeping. You are “breaking” or stopping the “fast” from eating. However, there is absolutely no rule on WHAT you should be breaking your fast with.

For many years we were plagued by tummy woes because we did not know that we had food allergies, and we were not following a spleen qi diet plan.  When you can’t eat gluten or dairy you start to look at other viable options. Here are a few of our favorites…

    Turmeric Vegetable Medley
This turmeric vegetable Medley is one of our favorite grain free breakfasts. We use seasonal vegetables or frozen veggies – sometimes just use up whatever vegetables we have in the crisper. Packed full of antioxidants and a good dose of coconut oil to help you stay feeling full.

Such a terrific post! We all know people who are restricted in what they can eat (or if we don't know anyone now, we will!), so all these wonderful ideas certainly are helpful. And they're all so good, even those of us without food restrictions will want to make them. Thanks!
