Some great dishes! We haven’t been cooking much Asian food the last few years — gotta change that! And of course right now is the perfect time of the year to do so. Thanks for this.

    • Bams Kitchen

Thanks John! When I used to live in the States, I always used to make loads of Asian dishes but now that we are here it makes it even easier. All of those fresh veggies at the market make for awesome stir fried dishes. Wishing you a super weekend!

  • Eha

Well, in contrast to KR, I make about 3-4 stirfries a week either for lunch or dinner! Easy, fast, tasty, cheap in using up ingredients they simply can’t be faulted 🙂 ! Each one different . . . . and what a gorgeous choice you have presented . . . as soon as the workday allows shall be back here to look up both the recipes and a few blogs presenting such which I do not know! Bobbi – you have made my day, especially after a fortnight in hospital and still not quite up to long sessions in the kitchen!

    • Bams Kitchen

Hello Eha, Oh goodness I certainly hope that you are on recovery soon. Ok here is the deal we are going to make the year of the monkey a year of better health and positive change for all. How does that sound to you? I wish I lived closer Eha as I would whip up a few of these stir fry dishes to help you through the week. I hope your neighbors are taking good care of you. Take Care

  • Wonderful round-up of dishes, Bobbi! When are they going to create taste-o-vision! (Grr) 😛 Thanks for including me, xo!

    • Bams Kitchen

Thank you for always making so many delicious dishes. We need those teenagers to get started on the newest technology for taste-o-vision prototype. Wishing you a very safe and happy Chinese New Year!

  • when I can stand the heat of the gas again I will tackle some of these 🙂

  • What a lucky roundup of 18 mouthwatering Chinese dishes, Bam! I have so much to learn here. Thanks for spreading the word and so much knowledge of Chinese food. Things must be lively where you are now. For us, it’s snowing…but we’re looking forward to getting together with family this weekend for the New Year! Happy year of the Monkey!!

    • Bams Kitchen

It is beyond lively in HK and there are just way too many people here for CNY! It makes it impossible to do anything other than stay in with family and friends. So I am looking forward to making dishes at home with my family. Gung Hei Fat Choy!

  • Anu-My Ginger Garlic Kitchen

This is such a fabulous collection of stir-fry dishes, Bobbi. Love how colorful, flavorful and full of good health they are. Love all of them! 🙂

    • Bams Kitchen

Thank you Anu, wishing you a super week!

  • Aaaaaaaaannnnd now I want Chinese for dinner! I wish I could have all these dishes in one place and sample them all – they would make for one fantastic feast!

    • Bams Kitchen

That would be the best! Most Chinese families will make 8 Chinese dishes (now thats lots of chopping and dicing for sure!) with many fish dishes as 8 is a lucky number. The word fish (yú) 鱼 and the word 余 (yú), means a surplus and sound the same so this means that you will have an extra prosperous year. Wishing you a very special and prosperous CNY!

  • I’ll take one of all of them! Yarm. I love asian food, and a stir-fry seems to be the go to feed for a quick and healthy mid week eat. Gonna have a go at ginger beef with noodles tonight. 🙂

    • Bams Kitchen

Stir fry is also my go to recipe when I open up my refrigerator wondering what to make with endless combinations, aromatics and sauces you could eat every work week day for years to come and still not covered all the options. Wishing you a super weekend!

  • Yum–what a great collection! All of these dishes look so tasty!

  • Awesome recipes BAM!!

  • I love a good stir fry and they’re so good for weeknights. Great line up, pinning.

  • Wow! I do a lot of stir fry and can’t wait to try some of these. And thanks for the compliment about my photo. I only wish they were all so “worthy”. The last three have been turned down! You only get a moment of fame!

  • They all look amazing, Bam. I don’t know where to start.

  • What a roundup of dishes and great timing as well. I’m planning on making shrimp fried rice later this week and so many of these dishes would go well.

  • Wow these look so delicious! So much variety and flavor options, you can’t go wrong!

  • Buona Notte, BAM! What a great collection of recipes! I don’t make stir fries nearly enough and I wonder why every time I make one for dinner. Without exception, they’re delicious, healthy, and can be made in a relatively short span of time. In short, everything I liker when deciding to prepare something for dinner. It’s probably like everything else. Until I get into the habit of thinking “stir-fry” and not “pasta”, they just aren’t going to make it into the rotation. Well, you’ve done your part and gave us 18 great dishes. I’m going to pin the post and hopefully refer to it before I go to the grocery next time. I would really like to try a few of these. Thanks, BAM!

    • Bams Kitchen

Buon Pomeriggio John! I know that I often get into what I call a cooking rut so I need some fresh ideas with loads of fresh and healthy vegetables. We are very blessed to have some awesome little bloggers with us today to give us some fresh ideas. Thank you so much for sharing!

  • I adore these amazing colors and flavors! Great line up here 🙂

  • These are some really great and delicious stir fries! They make a really quick and easy lazy dinner sometimes 😉

  • Honestly I don’t know which one to choose! You see I am a big fan of Asian! Pinned and shared!

  • This is a very inspirational line up, BAM! We are on a healthier track at our house and I just completely forget about stir fry for some reason. Maybe because I always associate it with a wok, but I know you can do it with any skillet. This is an amazing group of dishes with a variety of veggies…just up my alley. 😉
