Why do kids get all the fun? Let the kids enjoy a chocolate covered frozen yogurt bite while the adults enjoy something extra special. We have been very good and we deserve an adult treat too. Don't you think?!

These cannot be found on the ice cream truck circling your neighborhood. Nor do you want to spend alot on something that you can make at a fraction of the cost at home. So, Lets Get this Party Started!

Taking a bite of a wine popsicle showing the deep color or the berries.

    How Long to Assemble?

You can make these delicious wine pops at home in 5 minutes' flat, let them freeze overnight in your freezer and they are ready to enjoy.

    Blending the frozen berries

    Best Popsicles Molds

    • silicone, stainless steel or hard plastic molds like we use to make tea popsicles.
    • reusuable ice pop tubes
    • stackable molds
    • disposable ice pop molds like we used

This is not a sponsored post but we wanted to let you know about a brand that we really like. We have had loads of good luck with these Zipzicles popsicle baggies. They seal good and open easily. In addition, if you are making Berry Boozy Ice Pops for an outdoor party or gathering, they are super easy cleanup. No messy clean up.

The boozy ice pops in pre-made plastic filled containers ready to eat.

Best Wine To Use In a Frozen Wine Pop

This is where you can have a little fun and choose your favorite wine. We personally like a Moscato wine in a popsicles because it gives a depth of flavor.

Moscato wine is and Italian wine made with Muscat grapes. It's naturally sweet, light, slight fizz and lower in alcohol level. Because it is lower in alcohol, it makes freezing these berry wine ice pops a breeze.

Using Zipzicle bags to make the popsicles but you can also use posicle molds.

    Why Alcohol Does Not Freeze

Alcohol (ETOH) doesn't freeze easily because ethanol has a very low freezing point. When it is mixed with water, juice or fruit, it disrupts the ice formation. This keeps your popsicles perfectly soft, slushy , and boozy instead of solid ice bricks.

In addition, Moscato is much lower in ethanol (5-9%) compared to other standard wines (12-15%) and there is only a splash in each Ice Pops. If you add too much alcohol to your ice pops, they will not freeze.

    Summer Refreshments

Do you call these popsicles, ice lollies, ice pops, Mr. Freezy's, Freezy Pops, Cool Pops, Icy's, or any term we do not yet know? We have no idea but we just call these Berry Wine Posicles DELICIOUS!

We know that are many summer holidays, weddings, showers, and gatherings coming your way. Be the host or the hostess with the mostess and serve these delicious berry wine popsicles to your guests.
