It's actually chilly enough to want a hot mug of cider right now in McAllen, TX. (56 degrees!). I may need to get the pomegranate arils... I have everything else, including my favorite brown liquor - bourbon!

Are you just as amused as we are on how may adjectives and descriptive nouns that the weather man uses to describe rain in the UK... (damp, drizzle, moisture...etc. - always good for a giggle)

I love how perfect this spiced apple cider is for the transition seasons - particularly for fall but I can imagine drinking this on a coldish night during our spring (our overnight temperatures still drop nearly to 0C). All the flavours and spiced sound absolutely incredible and fill me with homely cosy feeling - perfect for sharing with friends or family. Thank you for sharing!

It's such a flavoursome recipe. It almost feels like autumn reading your entire post. The way you have structured your entire post with all the extra notes is love. In reply to Hannah. Hi there Hannah. This weather is so odd. One minute hot and one minute cold. The great thing is that this cider recipe can be served hot or over iced or spiked if desired. Stay well and this is the weather that people are most apt to fall ill due to this crazy weather.
