Made mango sticky rice today using your simple time saving method of preparing the. Glutinous rice. Your quick and easy method is the only recipe that we have found to work. Other recipes you are soaking the rice and it’s lots of extra work. Will be making this sticky rice recipe on regular repeat.

Glad you enjoyed our mango sticky rice recipe. I bet you actually enjoy a little bit of the browning flavor. Sometimes, if we have leftovers, I will place the sticky rice in a greased casserole dish and put it in the oven to warm and get crispy edges. Kind of addictive. Take Care

Followed this recipe twice, once we did the vigorous washing on the stovetop and once with a 24 hour soak and in a rice cooker. I have to say, the second batch was much better tasting although the rice had a slight browning in the rice cooker. We also used a monk fruit sweetener and the measurements are perfect to our taste.

Everyone's stovetop temperatures can differ a little and the amount of washing of the rice that is performed can also change the time needed. Next time you will have it down to a science!
