Thank you Carolyn! I was getting bored with fried rice clean out the refrigerator days so I found a new solution mini pot pies. This dough is very forgiving. You do not need to let the dough rest you can begin to work with it right away. (I have added this step comment into my recipe) However, if you want to make your dough in advance, just make the dough and store in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours.

Lovely post, Bam. Food wastage is so unnecessary and a pie is such a good way of using up leftovers, or what's in your fridge/freezer at the time.
I also love your pastry and the use of the cheesecake tins ! Question: do you have to rest the pastry before you begin working with it ?

Oh so YUM! Your pastry looks so buttery and delicious and the filling just the ultimate comfort food. I know this would be a winner with MR GG. Good on you for raising awareness of the plight of those who are unable to feed themselves. It is so unjust, when we waste so much.
