OMG... how exciting is this. Lavender farms So close to your house. We always thought we had to go to France country side to go to a lavender farm but we were so surprised to have some within driving distance. They are so beautiful and tranquil. Love your idea of serving lemon lavender goat cheese spread over hearty toasts with a big spot of tea or cuppa for breakfast. Mmmm... our kind of morning for sure.

Am laughing - true story ! Have used many lavender products but, to the best recollection, not culinary lavender. Knew there were some farms in the south of the Continent, but . . . ? Googled ! Hmm - one of Australia's largest is just a few kilometres away and I have lived here a quarter century !!! Does not seem to sell the culinary kind but the latter must be available on line ! Shall search 'cause love the cheese and would so like to rest your recipe . . . shall get back when mission accomplished . . . never mind about offering it at parties not there yet - that would be lovely on my breakfast toast !!!
