I love the flavor and the fun pop of color that the Hungarian Sweet Paprika adds... and using a homemade bone broth is brilliant. This adds so much amazing flavor to the soup!

In reply to Hannah. Thank you Hannah! You are going to love the savory broth of the Hungarian Goulash Soup. To keep it vegan, just use vegetable broth and skip the beef. You can make vegan drop dumplings with flour, baking powder, salt, water and a splash of olive oil instead of using eggs.

As I was way back married to a Hungarian nobleman and avid cook for a matter of years - hmm, I ate an awful lot of 'goulashy' dishes. He had very definite views on both Hungarian cooking and women being able to cook properly :) :) :) ! For some 'odd' reason did not cook much Hungarian 'after' . . , to be honest, tho' your dish looks absolutely lovely, am not 'that' fond of a rather repetitive cuisine :) !

I'm sad to say I've never tried Hungarian Goulash soup before. It looks really nice, especially on a rainy day (first rain in a long time!). I got totally inspired by your soup dish...I would love to try this soup one day. Something different from soups I've been cooking. :)
