Curry is perfect for this blizzard we are in. I bet I could even used dried fish in a recipe like this -- after reconstituting it.

In reply to Eha Carr. Thank you Eha. You nailed it perfectly. As this fish dish is so delicate, you really do not want to overpower the flavors, it is very delicate, light and mild coconut curry. Good for you on the turmeric intake. Great anti-inflammatory and warming.

*smile* As I order my usual curries hot or very hot around most of the world and medium in Thailand where the rules seem totally different . . . at first glance this might not be the first cab off the rank - and then one thinks of the delicacy of most fish and the importance of not burying that under a spice mix too strong . . .Bobbi - have read this more than once and 'tasted' it and it will definitely on the menu soon ! as far as turmeric is concerned - not only do I use the delightful spice often in food preparation but take it also in capsule form . . .

Love these quick delicious dinners and the fact that it's halibut is a huge plus! We love halibut and almost all curries, so the combination sounds quite good. And then you went and made it a meal with the squash and greens. Love it!

Oh Bobbi, this coconut curry dish looks so good...all so well balance...what a great combination of flavors...and yes, I just need a bowl of rice and I am happy!
