You are too funny! We store our instant pot in a closet and take it out when we use it as it does take up too much counter space and we have the tiniest kitchen!

Thank you Ron. Believe it or not, we no longer have a rice cooker. Jasmine rice is cooked in 12 minutes stove top- perfect ever time but forbidden rice takes much longer to cook. The instant pot version is really the way to go as it comes out perfect every time. Take Care

We use the IP for making large batches (small batches get cooked in the small rice cooker) of white and brown rice, but I never thought to try the IP. We'll have to give this a try...

Thank you Heidi. You got to love the time saving time Instant Pot and freeing up a burner. Black rice is delicious all on its own but making a pilaf is even more flavorful.
