In reply to Eha Carr. Comfort food cooking whilst you are at work. Nothing is better after you worked for 12 hours and exhausted to come home to a delicious fork tender meal. Our slow cooker has really been a survival tool. LOL The only issue is if the kids come home from school before you do and eat the whole darn family roast as a snack. (yep that has happened!) Well, just perchance may we change 0700 to 1000 and we shall probably be in business ! I do know you like pot roast in the States . . . it seems every time I was there to happily meet a school friend from way back in Europe from years ago . . . she would proudly serve pot roast for the Sunday lunch . . . and, well, a few tiny white lies escaped our lips . . .Uhuh . . . still do not make it but can alter this so easily by cutting up the meat . . . your ingredients are lovely . . . and, sorry . . . > stovetop, but, then I am home to check . . .

I do love pot roast! You're right, we have such little time, I love these recipes that are quick and easy so I can go on with my life! I've never made pot roast with tomato sauce, it sounds delicious!

This is the ultimate in comfort foods! That beef look SOOOOOOO tender - melt in you mouth tender. Great Stew!
