Thanks so much MJ. Traditionally, radish cake is made with dried Chinese sausage but we have never been keen on the taste of that. So, this really is a Western spin on an Asian Classic. I might have been the first to try it but hey why not, right? Bacon, according to the boys, belongs in it's own food group.

Love the bacon twist on this lo bak guo! And yes, it's hard to find lap cheong without all the added preservatives... so organic uncured bacon is a great (and more wholesome) alternative. 🙂
