Hi Michele, we have not tested this recipe with frozen zucchini blossoms. However, we would thaw them in the refrigerator and delicately dry them with a towel before stuffing and battering so that they stay crisp.

Hi there Eha! Wow, you can find zucchini (courgette) flowers in the regular supermarket in Australia? That is awesome. We usually find zucchini blossoms at the farmer's market or in gardens as they do not last too long after harvested. Would love to be shopping with you. Well, their season may be brief in Australia but in a few months I'll be able to buy them both on line and in supermarkets tho' they do come with a larger parent plant attached ! Since I do try and avoid frying these days have used oven baking but not preparing them in my new air fryer as yet . . . shall try upon spring's arrival and follow your recipe exactly . . . shall be back !
